About the Documentary
Created by Dr. Tamecca Rogers — award-winning filmmaker, journalist, bestselling author, and U.S. Navy veteran — the series examines the criminalization of women who defended themselves against abuse and later became incarcerated.
The pilot episode centers on Tyesha Long, asking the question that haunts every survivor whose story has been reduced to a case file: when the system mistakes survival for guilt, who is left to listen?
